Say it again.  Lisa Wiker Photography.

It seems simple.  My name, with the word “Photography” at the end.

For me, though, it’s anything but simple.  It is the culmination of eight years of teaching myself to work a camera.  It’s four years of perfecting portraits, and two years of working under a business name I just didn’t love.

Starting and running SnapDragon Photography taught me a lot about business.  It taught me how customer service helps a small business.

It also taught me a lot about marketing and how I want people to see my business.  I received a number of calls and emails from people asking “Is this SnapDragon?”  And, while it was completely understandable why that was the question they asked, it bugged me.

I wanted my business to reflect me.  I wanted people to call and ask “Is this Lisa?”  I wanted people to give MY name when referring me to others for my photography services.  So, I re-branded to fit what I wanted for my business.  For my brand.  For ME.

2018 is a new year and a new brand and a new start at business for me.  I’m looking forward to serving Canon City, Pueblo, La Junta, and Colorado Springs!  This year, I plan to photograph more weddings, capture more moments, and preserve more memories than I did in 2017 by focusing solely on my business and the experience I provide to my clients.  I want you to enjoy your session, and I want you to LOVE the artwork I will create for you and to be proud to hang these portraits on your wall.
