The Person Behind the Camera

Hi, I'm Lisa

And I'm a photographer.

Like most photographers, I started with a love of art and a camera.  With years of blood, sweat, and tears (and hours upon hours of education and YouTube videos) Lisa Wiker Photography was born.

I quickly realized weddings were where my heart pulled me.  The mix of documentary and posed photography, detail shots and storytelling, there's a lot to love about photographing a wedding.  The thing I love most, though, is getting to share the most exciting moments of a person's life with the best people, and documenting them for the next generations to see.

I want you to show your images to your children someday, and to your grandchildren, to your nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.  Your images will be timeless, filled with the warm memories of the best day for you to relish for decades to come.

Who am I?

Since you're on my "about me" section, here's a little bit of information that's actually, you know, about me.

I am a Colorado transplant living in Oshkosh, Wisconsin who loves chocolate and Game of Thrones, and enjoys watching Criminal Minds and Star Wars. Coffee is my lifeblood, art is my passion, and I appreciate the smell of books, and the way good old paper one feels in my hands.

My husband is my best friend and usually my second shooter.  We have a sweet little boy who's birthday is in March, and is the light of our lives.  I know first-hand how quickly life changes.  That's also how I know how important memories are to capture.
